At the heart of Jazzmin’s journey is her fierce advocate and loving mother, Tegdra Kelly-Samuel, a strong-willed woman who has dedicated her life to supporting her daughter’s goals, fighting for accessibility, and spreading a message of hope: having a disability doesn’t mean you can’t chase and achieve your dreams.

Professor Adrian Garcia sits down with Hollywood icon Ethan Hawke for an inspiring in-depth interview covering his legendary career—from breakout roles in Dead Poets Society and Reality Bites to directing, writing, and his work in the Before trilogy and beyond. Ethan shares candid stories and priceless advice for students dreaming of breaking into film and acting.
The energy soared during the student Q&A, where aspiring actors and filmmakers from the program got rare one-on-one time with Ethan, asking about his experiences, creative process, and tips for navigating the industry.
