Professor Adrian Garcia sits down with Hollywood icon Ethan Hawke for an inspiring in-depth interview covering his legendary career—from breakout roles in Dead Poets Society and Reality Bites to directing, writing, and his work in the Before trilogy and beyond. Ethan shares candid stories and priceless advice for students dreaming of breaking into film and acting.
The energy soared during the student Q&A, where aspiring actors and filmmakers from the program got rare one-on-one time with Ethan, asking about his experiences, creative process, and tips for navigating the industry.

This epic party was packed with non-stop energy: mechanical bull riding, hilarious caricatures, non-stop dancing to pumping DJ beats, high-energy performances from high school bands and our amazing cheerleaders, towering stilt walkers, exciting games, and a spectacular pyrotechnics display that brought the wow factor! 🌟💥
From laughs and thrills to music and magic, it was the ultimate Shark family reunion honoring our legacy of opportunity, diversity, and excellence.

From the grand opening celebration of the stunning $57 million, 120,000-square-foot building in May 2024 (featuring a mock courtroom, rappelling tower, simulation rooms, and advanced training labs), to inspiring graduations, powerful speeches by motivational leaders, bustling career fairs and school conventions connecting students with top agencies, the historic swearing-in ceremony of Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz in January 2025, and intensive hands-on police, corrections, and firefighter training sessions—this versatile space has become a hub for excellence in public safety education and community milestones.
